Adaklu Kodzobi (V/R), Dec. 21, GNA – Reverend
Dan K. Dogbe, Human Resource Manager of the Evangelical
Presbyterian Church (EPC), has called for an end to
political coloration of issues and the business-as-usual attitude that are drawing back the country’s development.
“If we are serious about our development then politicizing
every issue and the routine way of doing things must be stopped”, he
advised.
Rev. Dogbe said this when he presented a some used clothing including foot wears valued at about 5,000 Ghana Cedis to members of the Church at Adaklu Kodzobi.
He said the practice of removing people from
certain organizations anytime there was a change of government
should be given a second thought because it gave room for
incompetence and bad management in those organisations.
Rev. Dogbe appealed to pastors to focus their preaching on
practical issues that promote human and spiritual development rather
than on miracles for prosperity.
A three-member delegation of World Ministry
Outreach Fellowship (WMOF) based in Carlifonia has presented
“Christmas boxes” worth 10,000 Ghana cedis to orphans in some
communities in the Adaklu Anyigbe District.
The beneficiary communities are Have, Dzakpo, Kpatovoe,
Dave and Waya.
Pastor Joe Roberts, Special Projects Director of WMOF, said
the donation, which is a yearly affair, was also
done in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, India, Pakistan and the
Philipines.
Pastor Gideon Gogo, Ghana Representative of WMOF,
appealed to churches and individuals to give financial, material and
moral support to the needy especially orphans during the Christmas.
