The vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, is beginning a campaign tour of the Ashanti Region today.
The four-day visit will take her to Asawase, Afigya Kwabre South, Subin, Manhyia South, Nhyiaeso and Asante Akim South Constituencies.
She will also campaign in Sekyere Afram Plains, Juaben, Ejisu, Obuasi West and Atwima Kwanwoma Constituencies.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will address a regional gathering of Muslim women as well as various professional groups, trade associations and artisans at separate meetings.
She will also interact with the public, including market women, members, supporters and well-wishers of the NDC.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will highlight the superior record of NDC’s achievements in the Ashanti Region, including the ultra-modern Kejetia Market, new airport and health facilities. She will also underscore her party’s presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama’s own tireless effort and commitment to develop the region and the rest of the country.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will further make a compelling case that a vote for Mr John Dramani Mahama is a vote for development, jobs and financial empowerment of women.
