Ho, Dec. 3, GNA - Mr Richard Quashigah, an aspiring National Propaganda Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has pledged to re-brand the Party for victory in 2012.
He said the party needed re-branding to improve its chances in the next general election.
Mr Quashigah, a media consultant and Communication lecturer at the Institute of Professional Studies, said this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Ho.
He said he would reach out to the "foot soldiers" and sympathizers of the party in a persuasive manner. "I will ensure information flow to make our foot soldiers feel part of the Party."
"I have a demonstrable record and had been a strong voice for the Party in the last elections and will continue to do that to get everybody to appreciate the NDC and believe in its capability of creating a better Ghana for all," Mr Quashigah said.
He said he was well endowed to step into the "big shoes" left vacant by Mr Fiifi Kwetey, the Party's former Propaganda Secretary and now a Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Planning.
Mr Quashigah said he has the "creative imagination" to propel the Party to victory.
Mr Abubakar Musah Sidii an aspirant for the National Youth Organizer slot of the NDC, also described himself as "the people's man, a good listener and a performer."
