Alhaji Mohammed Mutawakil Kassim, Campaign Coordinator of Reform for Mahama, a group supporting the election of John Dramani Mahama as President in 2012, has slammed the free Senior High School (SHS) agenda of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking to students at Assin Fosu in the Central Region, Alhaji Kassim said some African countries such as Kenya and Uganda, which are implementing the free SHS policy, are soliciting for help from other countries to sustain it.
He appealed to Ghanaians to accept the National Democratic Party (NDC) policy of a gradual process to enhance quality education.
The group asked the electorate to renew the mandate of the NDC on December 7. Alhaji Kassim said President Mahama is the most experienced and most reliable person to lead the country.
He said he passed through the mill as a parliamentarian for 12 years, as a deputy minister and then a full minister.
He then rose to the position of Vice President and then President.
Alhaji Kasim said Mr Mahama who was once ECOWAS parliamentarian was allowed much room to operate to enable him to acquire the needed experience for the presidency by the late President John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills.
