Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, has shared his perspective on the recent balloting by the Electoral Commission for the 2024 presidential candidates.

The balloting, which took place at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission on September 20, 2024, saw the two main contenders, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, picking the number one position, while John Dramani Mahama, flagbearer of the NDC, picked the number eight position.

Reacting to the outcome in a social media post, Koku stated that despite the numerous interpretations of the balloting positions, the bottom line is that number 1 comes ahead of number 8.
