Member of Parliament for Akim Swedru, Kennedy Nyarko Osei, has urged the people of Ghana to demand answers from those who have put themselves up to be voted for as president in the 2024 elections.

The legislator believes that if a candidate cannot provide detailed, practical, and workable solutions to this country’s numerous challenges, then Ghanaians should not waste their time considering such a candidate.

Among other things, he expects Ghanaians to ask: "They should provide the lists of the Ministries they plan to create and the number of ministers that they plan to appoint; give details of how much it’s going to cost them to implement all their proposals; give a timetable as to when those programs and projects they are proposing will be executed; they should indicate to Ghanaians the major reforms they intend to implement to cut down the size of government expenditures and indicate how much the state will be saving from the reforms."

He said by doing so, the nation will get the right leaders to lead the country.
