The 23 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Organisers in the Central Region have reminded President John Dramani Mahama to revive all the abandoned projects that have been left to deteriorate in the region.

Addressing the press, the Dean of all NDC Organisers in the Central Region and the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District Constituency Organiser, Kojo Mensah, stated that they want President Mahama to continue the abandoned projects left by the NPP, which have been left unused and overgrown since 2016 in the Central Region.

According to him, "We want all the abandoned and overgrown projects, such as the Komenda Sugar Factory, Elmina Fishing and Processing Factory, the abandoned Anomabo Fisheries College, and the Teacher and Nursing Training College in Ajumako Bisease, to be revived."

They emphasised, "All these projects, along with many others abandoned by the NPP government, were initiated and started by the NDC government from 2012 to 2016. They were left abandoned and neglected under the Nana Akufo-Addo administration."

"We want President John Dramani Mahama to bring back these projects to boost the economy and create employment," they added.

They also expressed gratitude to President Mahama for appointing Ekow Panyin Eduamoah as the Central Regional Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson as Finance Minister, Nana Ama Brown Klutse as the Chief Executive Officer of the EPA, and Felix Ofosu Kwakye as his spokesperson.

Speaking in an interview with GhOne News, Yaw Boagyan, the Central Regional Organiser for the NDC, and Joseph Abekah, after giving thanks and appreciation to all the organisers in the Central Region, emphasised the need for continued hard work in the lead-up to the 2028 elections.

He stated that the NDC will work hard to secure more parliamentary seats in the 2028 elections.

He assured all NDC organisers in the Central Region to be patient, as their grievances and challenges will be addressed soon.
