STATEMENT: Impersonation and misrepresentation against the secretary-general

IMPERSONATION AND MISREPRESENTATION AGAINST THE SECRETARY-GENERAL

It has come to my notice that certain personalities are impersonating my voice by way of phone calls to NDP parliamentary aspirants, convincing them to step down. In other instances, these impersonators claim that:

“The true NDP is only here to spoil a particular political party”;

“The true NDP has given up, and therefore, all its members should vote for another political party”.

As the Secretary-General of the National Democratic Party, I am stating categorically that this is untrue.

This impersonation of my voice is criminal, and therefore, we advise all our Parliamentary Aspirants to be alert and on the lookout for these persons and report them to the police for impersonation.

The National Democratic Party believes in PLACING PEOPLE OVER POLITICS at every level of society, in order to change the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian. The NDP is therefore committed to ensuring that the principles of social justice, accountability, fairness, open governance and participatory democracy become an integral part of our body politic, the moral fabric of our society.

We are committed to shifting our politics away from, what has become “dirty politicking,” to creating a platform for constructive debate in order to transform the social, economic and political lives of people of Ghana.

As Secretary- General, I wish to assure Ghanaians that the National Democratic Party believes in ensuring the best future for all in this nation.

To us in the National Democratic Party (NDP), Ghana needs new leadership guided by Godliness and a willingness to serve the people.

NDP- OUR NATION OUR FUTURE

LONG LIVE NDP

LONG LIVE GHANA

Thank you
