The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has cautioned government appointees who have lost touch with the party's base.

He explained that the situation has led some members of the party to feel aggrieved.

In a post shared on Facebook, on Saturday, August 10, 2024, Justin Kodua said his recent tour of the Bono Region revealed significant dissatisfaction among some party members.

According to him, the disconnect was due to the fact that some government appointees had failed to engage effectively with the party's base.

He subsequently warned the appointees involved to address the issues or risk public exposure.

He stated that the appointees' positions are a result of the hard work and support of the party’s base and stressed the need for them to be responsive to the concerns of those who assisted them.

"Feedback from my tour of the Bono region shows that some appointees have lost touch with their base. Don’t force me to start mentioning names; do the needful," he stated.
