Spread Mop Up Exercise To Cover Critical Areas - Adwoa Safo Tells EC

Parliamentary candidate for Dome/ Kwabenya, Lawyer Sarah Adwoa Safo, has called on the electoral Commission to carefully gauge critical areas where the technical challenges of the biometric registration exercise affected most and spread the mop up to ensure that every Ghanaian who has attained the voting age and therefore qualified to vote are not unnecessarily disenfranchised. She said even though the entire exercise has been substantially successful, a lot of people have also not registered as a result of some technical challenges that nearly plagued down the entire exercise. She believes the technical ineptitude on the part of the EC must not disenfranchise many legitimate voters and hence the need to expand the mop up exercise to cater for the lot that have not registered. Adwoa Safo was addressing the polling station officers and agents who manned the various registration centers during the national biometric exercise to show her appreciation for the commitment and hard work they showed during the forty day period.
“The party and I are indebted to you for the great deal of commitment and zeal that you demonstrated and by dint of your hard work we made a significant improvement by hitting 125,439 as against the under 100 thousand we recorded over the last registration, this speaks volumes of your unflinching support and commitment you showed during the exercise”
She told the teeming crowd over how elated and enthused that she has been in seeing them display such high level commitment and hoped that similar commitment will be made on the day of the elections.
Noting “Ghana cannot continue to entrust its destiny into the hands of an incompetent government like the NDC asking them to do a critical study of the hell they have gone through over the four year period” Professor Mills reigns has been characterized by unprecedented amount of corruption of the highest magnitude, unbridled and stench mediocrity, lack of well cut out policies for the youth and policies that will catapult the nation to its development brim”
She said Nana Addo has been ordained to take over the reigns of Ghana and repair what she refers as the economic havoc created by the NDC and develop it to a height that will lessen the burden of all Ghanaians. Adwoa noted that the transformational leadership which will propel Ghana’s economy from the agrarian type to that of an industrialized economy will have youngsters like Dr Bawumiah, herself and others to operate from the laterals, a measure that will spark hope for the youth. The Dome/Kwabenya Member of parliament bound procurement law expert, Adwoa Safo gave hints about the policies Nana Addo intends to implement and told the gathered crowed how they will directly affects their lives. The free SHS will establish Ghana as a literate society where every Ghanaian will be able to do clear cut analysis of Government policies and assess it by its performance according the promises they have made. The inner city development projects will also seek to bridge the gap between the lower income earners and the middle income earners. Present at the occasion was the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party Kwadjo Owusu Afriyie also known in politics as SIR JOHN. He commended the officers for a good work done and singled out the Dome/Kwabenya constituency for providing accurate reports and also increasing their numbers to over 125 thousand. He urged them to even show more commitment and ensure that Nana wins the ultimate which is the presidential elections.
