Communications Member of the Conventions Peoples Party (CPP), Benjamin Nsiah has said Ghanaians should stop politicizing the two Canadian girls who were kidnapped and rescued a few days ago.

Security forces rescued the two Canadian women who were abducted in Ghana earlier this month and arrested eight people in connection with the kidnapping.

The pair were named as Lauren Tilley and Bailey Chitty by Youth Challenge International, an international development organisation headquartered in Toronto.

The women, aged 19 and 20, have been flown to Canada, but the stalwart Communications Member believes the recent kidnapping in the country should not be politicized.

“Politicians and all Ghanaians should desist from politicizing every issue, these current kidnapping cases are very serious as a current we need to sit up and find permanent solutions to it. I’m also disappointed in the leaders of NDC and NPP for politicizing every issue which is of national interest that attitude should stop, Benjamin Nsiah exclusively told Justice Kweku Annan on ‘Medo Ghana’ on Kingdom 107.7 FM
