The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has expressed his profound gratitude to the presidential candidate of the party Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for choosing the Minister of Education Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, to head his campaign group dubbed 'B24'.

Speaking at the group's official launch in Kumasi on Friday, 27th September 2024, the Ashanti Regional Chairman extolled the achievements and enormous contributions of the education minister at the grassroots level of the party.

According to Chairman Wontumi, Dr. Adutwum is a great asset to the party, particularly when it comes to supporting grassroots activities.

"Dr. Adutwum is a great asset to the party. He has always supported the activities of the party at the grassroots level," Chairman Wontumi said.

The NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman added, "I, therefore, thank the next President of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for this wise decision to appoint Dr. Adutwum as the head of the B24 Campaign group. He really deserves it."

The country goes to the polls in three months, and the two leading parties, the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress, are leaving no stone unturned.

With the decision of the NPP flagbearer to prioritize the grassroots, the ruling party clearly demonstrates that they are not leaving any room for complacency.
