The Member of Parliament-elect for Tema Central, Charles Forson, has expressed his readiness to work tirelessly to enhance the constituency's development.

Speaking to journalists shortly after being declared the MP-elect on Sunday, January 5, 2025, he extended his gratitude to the constituents for their support and votes.

"The battle is over; we are ready to work. We are very thankful to them all. We had 148 polling stations in the constituency, and we completed the collation of results from 146, leaving just two remaining. This brings finality to the exercise," he stated.

The exercise affirmed his win for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), securing 18,870 votes.

His closest competitor, Ebi Bright of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), garnered 18,815 votes, while Frederick Aniagyei received 209 votes.
