The lies are one too many, Mr President - CENAB Ashanti

"We are changing lives, One person at a time" - John Dramani Mahama, 25th February 2016, State Of The Nation Address.

It indeed appears sad for a president of a nation such as Ghana that is blessed with enormity of Gold, Diamond, Timber, etc, to say with cheerfulness "changing one life at a time" and thereby assembling the doubtful 27 lives he has changed within an 8year vast tenure governance as Vice President and a subsequent President for that matter to parliament to play propaganda with.

The farce like campaign inundated with lies in the name of State Of The Nation mars the plight of Ghanaians when; Teachers’ salaries are being toyed with, When back payments due teachers are not been paid, when Nurses after completing school for the past three years are not been placed to work for the development of the nation, when hundreds of the citizenry are crying over their lights and water tariffs, when inflationary prices of goods and products in the country persistently remains unbearable.

The above amongst others really show that the president is out of touch with the governance of the country.

CENAB Ashanti and the larger Ghanaian populace would like to know from the President, the fate of Nii, the little boy who was helping his father at the seashore with high hope in a better free education promised by the New Patriotic Party.
The fate of Mawusi the little girl who always console her mum when crying at the stone quarry site with the hope of getting a better life under an NPP government.
Ghanaians would have heaved a sigh of relief and clapped for Mr. President if the lives of the two mentioned above were part of the 27, whose lives you claim have changed.

Ghanaians are indeed disappointed in you President John Mahama.

It came as no surprise when the President never talked about the infamous withdrawal of training college students after their inability to pass a resit paper.

When he did not touch on the threat by teachers to go on strike but had the guts to talk of a "hoax" in the name of sharing sandals to basic schools and directing for a loan replacement to the little allowance training students were talking which the opposition New patriotic party has promised to restore back the allowance when voted into power come 2016 elections.

Again the "Yentie Obiaa" came to play when the president talked of the state of Ghana's Security, without touching on two existing delicate and pressing security issues confronting the people of Ashanti and Ghana by extention: The Asante Akyim - Fulani saga and the Tafo riot.

This clearly shows how the NDC government and the president have lost touch with the real state of our nation GHANA.

In effect CENAB Ashanti is calling on all well-meaning Ghanaians who wish well for this country, from Street Boys to Market Women - Technocrats to Teachers,Nurses,Students and all to vote massively for the NPP,to change the gear for a Ghana we can all be proud of.

Ignore the lies of Mahama!

Vote for NPP
Change is coming
