Independent MP-Elect for the Gomoa Central Constituency, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as Kwame A Plus, has expressed his happiness with the NDC's decision to fight corruption in the country.
In a post shared on social media, A Plus noted that the new John Dramani Mahama government is the perfect administration to tackle and recover all government resources stolen by government appointees.
"There has never been a better time than now to tackle corruption and recover all loot," he said.
A Plus also shared his happiness with the support received from some key members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in this regard.
"Even key members and some supporters of the outgoing government are willing to see some of their appointees investigated and held accountable for financial misconduct and theft. If witches dey, we for hunt dem!" he added.
A Plus, a musician-turned-politician, contested the Gomoa Central Parliamentary seat in the Central Region as an independent candidate.
He defeated the incumbent NPP MP, Nana Eyiah Quansah, by 2000 votes, polling 14,277 votes, compared to Quansah's 11,637.
