Supporters and sympathisers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) should be vigilant and work hard in order to ensure that the party wins the elections at the various polling stations to avert a petition as happened in 2012, Sarah Adwoa Safo, MP for Dome-Kwabenya has said.

According to her, the party has resolved to be extra vigilant at the polling stations in order to avert a repeat of 2012.

Speaking at the launch of her campaign in her constituency in the Greater Accra region on Wednesday June 6, Ms Safo, who is aiming to retain the seat, said: “There shall be no Supreme Court election petition in Ghana again. The NPP will win the elections at the polling stations – we will protect the ballot and by the grace of God we will win the election.”

The incumbent MP stated: “We know that this is the third time Nana Addo is aspiring to be president of Ghana and, God-willing, he shall be lucky on the third time.”
