This was contained in a statement signed by the party's Regional Vice Chairman, Mr Richard Adua, and released to the Press in Bolgatanga. "Having voted massively for the NDC in the first round to enable the party to maintain its electoral dominance in the region, the electorates in the region again showed their affection and commitment by turning out in their numbers to deliver 223,506 votes for the NDC as against 117,470 votes for the NPP," it said.
