The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has urged Ghanaians to vote for the party in the pending general elections.
In a video shared online by Adom TV, the former president, during a recent campaign tour, said the NDC has a track record of delivering on their promises, unlike the Akufo-Addo led administration.
He pointed out that most of the promises the New Patriotic Party made to Ghanaians have not been fulfilled.
“December 7, you must vote for the truth. I, Mahama, will not come and deceive you. I won’t say that I will build a factory in every district. I won’t tell you I will build a dam in every village. I won’t tell you that I will give every constituency one million dollars, when I know it’s not true. I won’t lie to you,” he noted.
He said the NDC will build on its legacy by focusing more on infrastructure development and job creation for the youth.
“NDC in the previous administration was about infrastructure development, the provision of electricity and water,” he noted.
