At Gomoa Potsin in the Central Region, about 70 voters who transferred their votes to enable them vote at Potsin 'B' postal Agency polling station with registration number BO61906B in the Gomoa East Constituency were disappointed after visiting the station and could not trace their names on the transfer list.
The presiding Officer of the Polling station, Mr. Samuel Kofi Darko said only those whose names appeared on the transfer register could cast their vote. At 0853 when the Ghana News Agency visited the polling station, 112 out of the total registered voters of 499 have cast their vote. At the Ayensu polling station with registration number BO61908, the presiding officer, Mr. John Baise Boadi said 81 out of the total 478 registered voters have cast their votes at the time GNA visited the station at 0825. Mr. Henry Arthur told the GNA that voting at the D/A primary polling station with registration number BO61905 was delayed due to the absence of indelible ink.
According to him the ink was left at the Electoral Commission Office in Winneba and when the ink was brought and voting started around 0725, twenty out of 526 registered voters have cast their vote. At Potsin Agency 'A' with registration number BO61906A, the Presiding Officer Mr. Solomon Essuman said 114 out of the total 416 registered voters have cast their vote at 0845 when the Ghana News Agency visited the polling station.
