The Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Godfred Yeboah Dame, has expressed strong optimism that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has a clear message, unlike the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He said the message of the party is clear and will help them break the eight-year-old jinx.

“I am very confident because our message is quite clear, and the message of the NDC can’t be seen,” he said.

To him, the party remains confident that the good people of Ghana, having experienced the two administrations, “will see that clearly, it is better they repose their trust and confidence in the NPP, led by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.”

He was speaking in an interview with the media in Sunyani after a closed-door engagement with top party executives in the Bono Region.

He explained that the initiative forms part of efforts to whip party leaders in the region into action with door-to-door and street-to-street campaigns.

He also donated motorbikes and t-shirts to aid the party’s work at the regional and constituency levels so they could reach out to every corner with the party’s message.

“They must put behind all the challenges and divisions that occurred in the selection of a candidate for each constituency,” he said.

“We have to be bold in propagating all the achievements that we have chalked over the past eight years and preaching all the messages we have for Ghanaians,” he added.

The engagement had his deputy, Alfred Tuah-Yeboah, the Bono regional minister, Justina Owusu Banahene, regional executives, constituency chairmen, and some parliamentary candidates in the Bono region in attendance.
