NDC National Vice Chairperson, Betty Mould Iddrisu NDC National Vice Chairperson, Betty Mould Iddrisu

The National Vice Chairperson of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mrs. Betty Mould Iddrisu has opined that the party owes Ghanaians a duty to rescue them from the “monumentally 'super incompetent' New Patriotic Party government in 2020 general elections.”

The NDC, across the country, went into a congress on Saturday, September 1, 2018 to elect officers to manage the affairs of the party for the next four years.

In her congratulatory message to all candidates who emerged victorious she indicated "Ghanaians are clamouring for the comeback of the NDC and we must build on the gains from the outcome of the regional conferences because we owe it to Ghanaians to rescue them from the monumentally super incompetent NPP government".

The aspiring National Chairperson, used the opportunity to wish all newly elected Regional Executives who emerged victorious and said the victory is for the NDC adding that the new executives are obligated to justify the confidence and trust reposed in them by the delegates.

"I extend warm wishes to all the newly elected Regional Executives who emerged victorious in yesterday's conference. This is a victory for the NDC and so it is incumbent on the new executives to justify the confidence and trust reposed in them by the delegates of our great party. The onus lies on you to mend old bridges and build new ones to ensure that we go into the 2020 elections stronger and united", she said.

She seized the opportunity to appeal to the victors and losers to remain united and work together to win elections 2020.

I am overwhelmed by the enthusiasm, zeal and passion with which party people participated in this very important process and this gives me confidence that the NDC is on course for victory in 2020. Ghanaians are clamouring for the comeback of the NDC and we must build on the gains from the outcome of the regional conferences because we owe it to Ghanaians to rescue them from the monumentally super incompetent NPP government.

I once again congratulate my party, aspirants and delegates for the successful regional congresses across the country.
