Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed optimism about securing victory in the ongoing presidential election.
Dr. Bawumia cast his ballot in the Walewale constituency of the Savannah Region, a moment he described as pivotal for the nation's progress.
Speaking to the media after voting, he pointed out the NPP's strong campaign efforts and the trust Ghanaians have in the party's track record over the past eight years.
"I am confident of victory. The people of Ghana have witnessed the transformation we have delivered, and I believe they will make the right choice to continue on this path of progress," he stated.
Dr. Bawumia emphasised the importance of citizens exercising their democratic right to vote, urging all Ghanaians to participate peacefully in the electoral process.
He lauded electoral officials for their professionalism and encouraged the public to contribute to a smooth and transparent election.
As the electoral process unfolds, Dr. Bawumia remains hopeful that Ghanaians will choose continuity and progress under his leadership.
