The Running Mate of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has criticised the government of President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for prioritising past questions over textbooks in schools.

Addressing NDC supporters at a mini-rally in Walewale as part of her campaign tour of the North East Region, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang reiterated that the NPP government is noted for not prioritising developmental projects.

She said that unlike the NDC, which is known for building developmental projects like schools, hospitals, markets, universities, and others, the same cannot be said about the NPP government.

Stating further, the NDC Running Mate opined that this NPP government promised the people of Walewale and the North East Region at large that they were going to construct the Pwalugu multipurpose dam, only for the NPP government to sink millions of dollars into the project without any evidential progress.

She urged the people of Walewale to vote for the NDC, which gives farmers fertilisers for free.

Addressing a durbar at Lamgbinsi in the Nalerigu-Gambaga constituency, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang assured the chiefs and the people of Lamgbinsi of the next NDC administration's readiness to complete the Lamgbinsi E-Block, which the previous NDC government started.

In her response to the request by the Chief of Lamgbinsi to complete the construction of the E-Block and other projects that had been halted for some time if the NDC came to power, Prof. Naana said the election presents an opportunity for the people to choose between a government that prioritises essential developmental projects and a government that does not.
