Work hard to retain NPP government in power - Youth Organiser urges supporters

The Savannah Regional Youth Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Mr. Raphael Akati, has urged the youth of the party to remain resolute and work diligently towards retaining the NPP government in power come December 2020.

Addressing a mammoth crowd of enthusiastic youth and supporters at Sawla as part of activities marking the New Year, he said against all odds and machinations from the NDC, the youth must hold the foot and showcase the good deeds of the government.

He pledged to replicate the "Lunch Time With The Youth," programme under his auspices across the various constituencies in the Savannah Region.

Hundreds of youth took part in a health walk to end the year under the "Lunch Time With The Youth" project.

The youth feasted and chanted victory chorus as they walk through the principal streets of Sawla to the Community centre.

Speaker upon speaker, encouraged the youth to remain calm, bury their differences and assist the NPP government deliver on its promises for the betterment of the people of Ghana.
The youth were also encouraged to take advantage of governments flagship programmes to better their lives.

Expressing their joy, the youth commended the Regional Youth Organizer for his hard work and dedication towards the growth of the party, describing him as "the right man for the job…"

They, however, called on the Rank and File of the party to exploit avenues of creating more opportunities for the teaming youth.

They reiterated their firm resolve to work tireless to retain the NPP in power.

Present to grace the occasion were Regional Executives of the party led by the Regional Chairman, constituency executives led by the District Chief Executive for Sawla/Tuna/Kalba, Mr. Tamimu Lawal, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency, Mr Banasco Seidu Nuhu among other youth and women groups of the party.

"Old Boys" of the party in the district with vast experiences such as Mr. Vugu Joseph former DCEs' and parliamentary candidates were also present to share their rich wealth of experience with the youth.
