The Young Executive Forum Ashanti has congratulated Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh for his appointment as Dr Mahamudu's Bawumia's running mate for the 2024 general elections.

This comes after the National Executive Committee of the NPP confirmed Dr Bawumia's choice on Thursday, July 4, 2024.

The Executive Forum (YEF) Ashanti, of the New Patriotic Party congratulates Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the Vice Presidential Candidate

Following the concluded National Council meeting of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on the nomination of Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) as the Running Mate to our Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the Executive Forum (YEF) Ashanti, wishes to congratulate you on your confirmation by the National Council of the Party.

The pursuit of political leadership calls for intensive persuasion to the population towards winning their support to our dream positions; this you have done and won the hearts of the members of the fraternity and many more Ghanaians. Your reconciliatory tone in your acceptance and maiden press release after you were confirmed has even encouraged us more after you affirmed that it was a process and not enmity.
