Mr. Yaw Awuah Boadu Ayeboafo, aka Ben Sallah, a former TESCON Vice President at the University of Ghana-Legon, has donated a computer and its accessories to the Ahafo Ano North Constituency Office of the N.P.P at a colourful ceremony at Tepa.
Making the donation to the party executives, the N.P.P activist said, the donation was to mark the 6th anniversary of his late father, Mr. B.K Awuah, and in recognition of his public service, love, sacrifices and commitment to the N.P.P as the constituency chairman from 1992-2000.
He implored party supporters to be inspired by the selfless leadership, sacrifices and toil of the party?s fore bearers. "The youth must learn from the current leaders of the party to enable them make very meaningful contributions when they assume leadership positions", he said.
He noted that the donation would facilitate the party?s data processing, information retrieval and provide an in-house facility for drafting, writing, storing and printing of its correspondences without exposing her vital information to public letter-writers.
Mr. Ayeboafo told the enthusiastic party supporters that it was about time they asked themselves what they could do for their party, their constituency and Ghana. He charged the youth to engage themselves in productive activities and take their education serious, as Ghana?s development hinges on their successes.
The constituency chairman, Mr. Kwabena Poku, described Ayeboafo?s donation as a novelty in the constituency and thanked him for the the initiative.
