The Dagomba Chief of Kasoa, in the Central Region, Alhaji Amin Abdullah, has commended Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for changing the political landscape.

He expressed this at the beginning of Dr. Bawumia’s campaign in the Awutu Senya East district on September 2, 2024.

Dr. Bawumia met the Odikro at the old Kasoa market to begin his campaign tour of the Awutu Senya East constituency. From there, he proceeded to the house of the Odikro, where he conversed with the Odikro and a few other local tribal chiefs.

One of the tribe leaders, Alhaji Abdullah, described Dr. Bawumia as one of the individuals who has transformed Ghanaian politics.

He claims that since Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia entered the political space, insult politics have not been seen, and this is causing a shift in the political landscape of the nation.

“As I said, you have changed the face of politics in Ghana. Unlike before, when it is getting to election time, we often hear insults here and there. But this time round what you did, you always outline your policies and the policies that you all the time outline, bring the entire nation to debate on your policies,” Alhaji Abdullah declared.

The governing NPP’s vice president and flagbearer moved from the Odikro residence to interact with religious leaders, clergy, and constituents at a gathering they refer to as the constituency connect. This was held at the Methodist Church in Kasoa. Dr. Bawumia was given the assurance by one of the speakers that his supporters from other regions were also on their way to the venue. “Our people in the other regions are on their way here to come and support us”, he voiced out.
