Youth Group To Demonstrate Against Political Parties

Generational Thinkers, is a group made up of ambitious and inspirational young men and women. It was formed two years ago in the Bolgatanga Municipality with the prime objective of ensuring an egalitarian method of compensation, where there will be equity, peace, tranquility, justice and fairness in all spheres of the governing dispensation of this nation. The group currently has branches spread Nationwide in all the Ten Region.

We wish to optimally assert openly without mincing words that, we are not in the least enthused about the way and manner in which this Country is being run by politicians. We have been monitoring and delving into the historical development antecedent of the country with grave concern and have come to the conclusion that if something drastic is not done to rescue the country from the role of the two political parties, thus the NDC and NPP from further deepening the woes of the country by their corrupt act of governance, this country will soon find itself in shambles beyond repairs.

In spite of Ghana’s enormous potential natural and human resources, the country has not witnessed any remarkable economic improvement over the past decades. With the exception of the First Republic Government under the leadership of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah when Ghana witnessed tremendous economic, infrastructural and social development, successive governments have one way or the other exposed themselves as the impediments to the growth of this country, to the extent of running the country into bankruptcy.

We are therefore going to embark on a ‘Spiritual Nationwide March’ to express our displeasure with the current order. We are going to use this stride to invoke the spirits of our forefathers who had the good of the country at heart, to rise up from wherever they are and guide the country to elect a credible political party or person to lead this country and save us from the corrupt and greedy leadership of the NDC and NPP politicians.
The Generational Thinkers in the next three weeks will be marching from the North to the South, East to West together with some Religious Leaders to place petitions on the graves of some forbearers which will include that of Dr. J.B. Danquah, Dr. Kofi Busia, Dr. Paa Grant, Dr Ako Adjei, Dr. Quagyir Aggrey, Dr Casely Hayford, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and the others as a sign of our respect for their unselfishness and dedication to the well-being of the ordinary Ghanaian. The Religious Leaders would be tasked to pray and chant to invoke the spirits of our forefathers to help us in our search for a credible political party or person whiles we prepare ourselves for the 2012 general elections.

We are also craving each and everyone’s awareness to stand by, as we finalize our arrangements on the modalities to be employed as well as Routes to the graveyards of our forbearers. We wish to invite all well-meaning Ghanaians who have the interest of the country at heart to join us to undertake this spiritual journey.
