Youth wants Mills to denounce unguarded statement againt Rawlings

' Wa, Oct. 24, GNA - A youth group of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Wa in the Upper West Region has appealed to President John Atta Mills to openly denounce all unguarded statements made against Former President Jerry John Rawalings and his wife by some leading members of the NDC.

A statement issued and signed by Madam Florence Kpan, Chairperson of the group, said until Former President Rawlings was accorded the much needed respect in the NDC, the group would resort to demonstrations through the principal streets of Wa.

The group referred to Mr. Asiedu Nketiah, the General Secretary of the NDC's "barking dog" statement made against former President Rawlings during a welcoming ceremony for Dr. Obed Asamoah and some members of the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) as one among many others that were allowed to go free without any comment from President Mills.
