Top-performing students from five primary schools across Accra have been recognized for their academic accomplishments in 2023. Each student received a certificate of recognition, a school bag and a cash prize, and all 700 students in the five school received a snack (yogurt).

Established by Come Study International (CSI), a study abroad consultancy that helps students find and pursue study abroad opportunities, the CSI Academic Excellence Awards is focused on encouraging academic excellence while putting smiles on children’s faces.

The 36 award recipients were selected based on their recent results from The Lord's Redeemed School, Sacred Heart School Complex, Cansford International School, John Kennedy Memorial School and Queens International School, all located in neighborhoods in and around East Legon in Accra.

“We’re passionate about education and excellence, and we’re excited about the opportunity to recognize these wonderful students for their hard work,” said Madam Adelaide Ansah, managing partner of Come Study International. “This award scheme is our way of reminding children and parents that education plays an important role in opening doors to opportunities.”
