ALX, a leading technology training provider, proudly stood by the gallant women of Ghana in March, celebrating their strength and resilience by supporting selected events that empowered and inspired them.

One of the programs was the Women of Valour event, held in Accra. The event's theme was "The Untold Story of Courageous Women," It aimed to highlight women with unique stories of courage and inspire young women to achieve their dreams.

The event was organized by seasoned Ghanaian journalist Nana Aba Anamoah, who founded Women of Valour. During the event, she announced ALX's sponsored placement programs for 3,500 women, which will allow them to gain practical industry experience and kick-start their tech careers. Anamoah also highlighted the importance of women having technological skills.

ALX Accra's marketing manager, Adeline Asante, spoke about the company's first all-female cohort in software engineering for March. She emphasized the company's efforts to support more women in the tech space and create more opportunities for them to succeed.

At the International Women's Day Summit, Berla Mundi, a presenter at TV3 and founder of the B. Your foundation spoke about taking advantage of ALX programs to bridge the skills gap and empower young women in the tech industry. Mundi emphasized that Africa has one of the youngest populations in the world, but this burgeoning workforce lacks the necessary skills, particularly in tech.

The events were well-attended and provided an excellent opportunity for young women to network, learn, and be inspired. The speakers shared their experiences and stories of courage, motivating attendees to pursue their dreams and overcome any obstacles that may come their way.

ALX is committed to empowering women in the tech industry and creating a more diverse and inclusive workforce. Applications are still open for the ALX tech programs. Visit their website to learn more and apply.
