Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Back End Developer to join our innovative media and advertising team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and databases that power our web applications.

You will work closely with front-end developers, IT, editorial and the commercial team to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications using modern programming languages.

2. Develop and manage APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end components.

3. Collaborate with IT, editorial, commercial and front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

4. Optimize applications for maximum speed and efficiency by implementing best practices in database design and management.

5. Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring high availability and reliability.

6. Work with databases to store and manage data effectively.

7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

8. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve back-end development process.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as a Back End Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications and projects.

3. Proficiency in one or more server-side programming languages.

4. Experience with database management systems (………………………………..).

5. Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.

6. Strong understanding of version control systems.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

9. Experience in the media and advertising industry is a plus.
