Electroland Ghana Limited rewards NSMQ champions for academic excellence

Electroland Ghana Limited, a dedicated broadcast sponsor of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), has fulfilled its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by honoring and rewarding the winning team of the 2023 NSMQ.

Presbyterian Boys Senior High School, Legon, affectionately known as PRESEC Legon, emerged victorious in the competition for the 8th time, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the NSMQ.

A special prize presentation ceremony was held in the school and each member of the winning team was presented with a NASCO SMART TV and a NASCO BLUETOOTH SPEAKER.

The Electroland Ghana Limited representative expressed the company's firm belief in supporting academic excellence and nurturing the potential of young minds. The team from PRESEC Legon received the prizes with smiles and gratitude, fully aware of the significance of their academic achievements.

Furthermore, as a testament to their commitment to education, Electroland Ghana Limited extended their support to the PRESEC Science and Maths Team by donating a TV, aimed at furthering their educational journey. The gesture serves as an encouragement for these young scholars to continue their dedication to their studies and inspire others to do the same.

PRESEC clinched the 2023 NSMQ championship with an impressive performance on Monday, October 30. They ended the final round with 40 points, securing their victory as 2022 champions and winning back-to-back in 2023.

Achimota School, with 28 points, earned the silver medal, while Opoku Ware School claimed the bronze with 23 points.
