NDC gurus to visit and raise funds in the USA

Members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are preparing excitedly to host former President John Dramani Mahama, the current flagbearer and leader of the NDC, to a Fundraising luncheon and conference in Chicago and New Jersey.

The event in Chicago takes place Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Holiday Inn, 6600 N Mannheim Road, Illinois 60018. NLIA Marriott at 1 Hotel Road, Newark, New Jersey, 07114, will host the following and last event on October 31, 2023. Both venues will host a conference from 11 am to 3 pm and a fundraising dinner from 6 pm to 12 am.

The former President and others will speak on “the role of the diaspora in ensuring victory 2024 and beyond, and Party cohesion and unity into the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections”. The President and his high-ranking entourage will engage participants at both venues. Discussions will also focus on matters that resonate with Ghanaians in the diaspora.

The NDC USA Chapter and the Chicago Branch are working diligently to ensure that both events are successful and impact the party’s fortunes at the 2024 polls. With an expected atmosphere of Comradeship, the former President of Ghana’s visit will create the stage for meaningful interactions while showcasing unity and strength of the NDC USA Chapter.

Prior to coming to the USA, President Mahama gave a captivating speech at the University of Calgary, amidst the rich display of Ghanaian culture by the Royal Cultural Dancers of Calgary. The President enthralled the packed University of Calgary auditorium with his vision for the future of Ghana and the opportunities it offers for investors , tourists, etc.
