We the members of the Greater Accra Regional Students’ Representative Council, an amalgamation of all the senior high schools, technical and vocational schools in the Greater Accra Region under the abled leadership of our President, Hon. Sam-Mark Ansah Ayernor, wish to congratulate the President, H.E. John Daramani Mahama for his victory in the just ended December Polls and also for a successful inauguration.
Being very much aware of what the repercussions of some form of chaos or violence would have been on our education as High School students, we would also like to acknowledge the efforts of the National Peace Council, the Security Personnel, the clergy and other such bodies for helping maintain peace and order in the country before, during and after the elections period.
In as much as we are very much unhappy with the fact that the National Democratic Congress and all the other political parties ignored our position as the major stakeholders of education in the country and failed to consider our views and opinions on the many education-related policies they campaigned about, we still want to congratulate them and wish them nothing but the best.
We would want to take this chance to remind the incumbent government of our existence as the main mouthpiece of all senior high school students in the Greater Accra Region and that they should give us the necessary attention as students since we are undoubtedly the future of our dear motherland.
All in the interest of Ghanaian High School Students.
Thank you!
Signed:
HON. SAM-MARK ANSAH AYERNOR MR. LOIC CHRIS KOYOU
