Press Release: Shame On Kwaw Kese

Our attention has been drawn to a nasty incident that happened at the 2012” Nite with the Stars” organized by Joy FM, an Accra – based radio station last week.
The annual programme, has over the years been the platform where the nation’s stage stoppers and crowd movers want to be.
However, this year’s nite with the stars sought to draw the line the between top artistes in the nation’s capital, Accra and their counterparts in the Harbour City of Tema. That is why artistes had to be pitched against the other from both worlds.
Kwaw Kese was pitched against Hiplife Group, VIP. When he mounted the stage, reports say he brought with him a banner that had a VIP inscription on it. He again was seen dropping it down and trampling over it.
THAT IS INSULTING. THAT IS DISRESPECTFUL. THAT IS DEVIANT. That is unhealthy and must be condemned by all. First, for Kwaw Kese to be seen to be trampling on the insignia of artistes he was pitched against is not professional of a super star like his caliber. Top Artistes in Ghana should learn to compete without provocations, innuendos and improper conducts.
We do not blame VIP for replying the way they did. Not all people can contain infantile nonsense. We only urge them to be more tolerant the next time.
To this end, we at Ghananewsaid.com condemn the action of Kwaw Kese entirely. HE MUST NOT REPEAT IT AGAIN!!
We also expect him to apologize to VIP, the organizers and the general public as soon as possible. Organizers of shows must also set out codes for artistes performing on stage.
In this way, the entertainment industry will move on in the best way we all expect.
Kwaw Kese has really disappointed many of us!!

Signed
