The Institute of Certified Business Analysts & Consultants (ICBAC) is a professional body legally registered and recognized in Ghana. Established in October 2014, it offers professional training for individuals aspiring to become certified Business Analysts and consultants.

Business Analysis involves a set of tasks and methodologies used by analysts to understand the environment, structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend interventions that enable the organization to achieve its objectives. A Business Analyst, in accordance with ICBAC frameworks, applies methodologies and knowledge creatively and innovatively without compromising the Institute's values and ethical standards.

Business Analysts are crucial to organizations as they bring a comprehensive understanding of the business environment and the strategies needed to respond to its dynamics. They possess the capability to diagnose the environment, enterprise, and organization in an integrated manner to identify the requirements necessary for business prosperity.

ICBAC has various international institutional partnerships and collaborations, providing its members with global recognition. ICBAC’s designations are also registered and recognized internationally.

Becoming a Business Analyst through ICBAC involves acquiring diverse knowledge and skills. Prospective analysts must go through three stages: Certificate Level, Associate Level, and Professional Levels (Full Member/Fellow). Depending on one's qualifications, a prospective analyst may be exempted from the Certificate Level courses.
