Deputy Women's Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Mimi Duah, on Sunday donated packs of water and cash to the team of Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, who is currently attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon.

Afua Asantewaa Aduonum embarked on her journey yesterday and has so far sung for over 2 days now.

According to Madam Mimi Duah, this is aimed at motivating Afua Aduonum and her team to continue their quest to make Ghana proud.

Mimi Duah said as a Deputy Women's Organizer, there was no way she was going to sit unconcerned when a woman was on a journey to break a world record.

According to her, as a woman and someone who happens to work with women in her line of work, it is prudent she visits and throws her weight behind Afua Asantewaa.

She promised the team her support anytime they call on her.

Afua Asantewaa's team, led by her father and husband, received the donation and expressed their appreciation.

They thanked Mimi Duah for such a gesture at a crucial time.

The team urged the whole of Ghana to be solidly behind Afua Asantewaa to break this record to project Ghana Music and the country in general.
