UPSA holds 6th Congregation

The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) will hold it’s sixth (6th) Congregation ceremony to award degree and diploma certificates to students who successfully within the 2013/2014 academic year completed their programmes of study

The event, which occurs annually, will see over 3,000 students receive their certificates from the Diploma, Undergraduate and Graduate levels in a variety of disciplines, including; Accounting & Finance, Auditing, Marketing, Corporate Governance, Total Quality Management, Petroleum Accounting/Finance, Information Technology Management etc. This will also signify their readiness to make a difference in the corporate world, having gone through the only University in Ghana that ensures a good blend of scholarship with professionalism in the training of its products.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the forecourt of the Administration Block, UPSA, on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 09:00a.m. The Guest of Honour for the event will be Mrs. Kate Quartey-Papafio, CEO of Reroy Cables & CIMG Marketing Woman of the year for 2013. It will be attended by graduands, parents and guardians, alumni, representatives of business-related professional bodies, friends of UPSA, the UPSA Governing Council, Management and staff of UPSA.

This year’s ceremony will be presided over by the Chancellor, of the University, Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, who was sworn into office in April 2014.
