Some irate youth at Dawhenya-Afienya in the Greater Accra region protested the poor nature of their roads.
The protest caused heavy gridlock on the road causing a lot of discomfort to commuters.
The protesters burned car tyres on the roads.
The aggrieved youth, according to reports, pelted stones at officials of the Ghana National Fire Service injuring six when the firefighters attempted to douse the flame.
The police had to fire tear gas to disperse the demonstrators.
