Accra minister tours Ningo-Prampram and Ledzokuku-Krowo Municipalities

Mr Julius Debrah, Greater Accra Regional Minister has called on the people of Ningo Prampram and Ledzokuku-Krowor to work hard and support the President to advance the Better Ghana Agenda.

He advised the people not to work on partisan lines, adding that, the election was over and that Ghanaians should forge ahead and see themselves as one people.

Mr Julius Debrah made the call when he paid a day’s working visit to Ningo Prampram and Ledzokuku- Krowor Municipal Assemblies to familiarize with them on Friday.

He said his duty as a regional minister was to ensure that the policies and programs of government were implemented for the benefit of the citizenry and assured them of commitments to deliver on its promises.

Mr Debrah noted that the problems facing the people in the region were of concern to everybody and asked the people to suggest possible solutions for the assemblies irrespective of their political, social and ethnic backgrounds.

He noted that the assemblies cannot achieve their goals without team work and called on the staff to drop all forms criticism and forge ahead with the development plans to raise the standard of the people.

Mr Debrah said the assembly would execute its decentralization policy to bring development to the people through hard and team work.

He commended both assemblies for their hard work and encouraged them not to relent in their efforts, but explore other opportunities and engage the private sector for investments opportunities that would create employment for the people in the area.

Mr Debrah appealed to the people of the areas to co-operate with the assemblies to bring development and settle disputes through the right channel amicably.
