Adam Computer to run Secondary school programme

Kasoa (C/R), March 22, GNA - The Ministry of Education and Sports has approved a request by the management of Andam Computer Training and Technical Institute at Kasoa to run a secondary education programme in addition to its technical course.

The Managing Director of the school, Mr Emmanuel Nkrumah Andam, disclosed this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Kasoa at the weekend.

Mr Nkrumah-Andam said authorities of the school had already acquired a large plot of land for the construction of a three-storey complex estimated at about two billion cedis.

He said work had already begun on the first phase of the project and appealed to the Ghana Educational Trust Fund (GETFUND) and donors to assist the school with funds and materials to enable it complete the project.

Mr Nkrumah-Andam said the first phase involves the construction of classrooms, Offices, a store and a staff common room. The school currently has nearly l00 students pursuing various technical and other programmes.
