Armed robbers threatening my constituency but we'll end them - Manso Adubia MP

Member of Parliament for Manso Adubia constituency, Mr. Yaw Frimpong Addo has bemoaned the high rate of armed robberies.

Speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm stated that the activities of armed robbers have threatened the lives and businesses in the region especially, in his constituency.

But he has assured residents and constituents of efforts to deal with the problem.

He has also cautioned criminals in the region and his constituency to be guided by the intensified security operations to clamp down on them.

He maintained he will not rest until he sees to it that all criminals and armed robbers are dealt with by law.

He referenced a recent robbery incident which saw three persons killed saying he will not entertain such lawless acts again.

Three people, including the driver of the District Chief Executive for Amansie South District in the Ashanti Region, were shot dead in suspected armed robbery attack last month.

The deceased persons who received multiple gunshot wounds were shot at different locations at Manso Dadease near Datano in the Amansie South District when the group of armed men stormed the community.

Eleven suspects were later arrested in connection to the attack.

The all-male suspects are believed to be linked to the shooting and killing of three people including the driver of District Chief Executive for the area.
