The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah, has officially commissioned the Sewua Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Senior High School at Sewua Tetrefu in the Ashanti Region.
The project is part of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government’s vision under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to enhance Ghana's educational system through innovative and transformative initiatives.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah highlighted the critical role of STEM education in driving development and urged Ghanaians to support the NPP government by voting for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum to continue their impactful work in education and other sectors.
The minister expressed gratitude to President Akufo-Addo, education minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Sawuamanhene Nana Kwaku Amankwa Sarkodie II for their commitment to making the project a reality in the Ashanti Region.
In his remarks, the chief of Sewua, Nana Kwaku Amankwa Sarkodie II, lauded the government and all stakeholders involved for their dedication, emphasizing the importance of the project to the community's development.
The Sewua STEM School is expected to provide students with quality education and skills essential for technological advancement and national progress.
