Ho, Mar. 9, GNA - Mr. Caesar Dzakpasu, an aspiring National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Ketu-North Constituency in the Volta Region last Sunday advised the leadership of the party to evaluate negative feedbacks on ratings of the party as seriously as it would review the positive signals.
This, he said, would greatly improve the fortunes of the party in the 2004 elections as shortcomings could be addressed in good time for positive results.
Mr Dzakpasu, was contributing to discussions at a special Volta Regional Extended Regional Executive Committee (REC) meeting of the party in Ho.
The meeting was attended by national, regional and constituency executives as well as sitting and aspiring Members of Parliament (MP) and ex-District Chief Executives.
Squadron Leader Clend Sowu, ex- MP for the Anlo Constituency slammed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for its inability to appreciate the problems of the nation and find solutions to them.
He said the NPP era is now associated with Hardship, Incompetence, Parochialism and Corruption (HIPC), adding that the NDC should base its campaign message on issues affecting the people.
Other concerns of contributors include the fear that minors could be registered in certain parts of the country.
