The Awutu/Senya District Assembly has constructed a new 162,000.00 Ghana-cedi block to house the Awutu Circuit Court.
Mr. Sampson Abbey Armah, the District Chief Executive for the Area, said the project is the Assembly’s contribution towards the promotion of the work of the Judicial Service in the Awutu/Senya District.
Mr. Armah was speaking to the Ghana News Agency after leading media men to inspect the building.
He expressed the hope that with the provision of the new block judicial workers in the district would work harder to maintain peace, justice and order in the area.
Mr. Armah called on people in the district to assist the police to bring to book criminals and other lawless elements in the area without fear or favor, reminding them that the essence of constructing the new court building at Awutu was to ensure that Justice was brought to their doorsteps.
“As your contribution to helping the Assembly to achieve its laudable initiative it is the responsibility of you the people to team up with the law enforcing agents to fish out the law breakers and prosecute them,” he said.
