Assemblyman installed chief at Breman Jamra

Jamra (C/R), April 20, GNA - The Assemblyman for the Jamra Electoral Area in the Asikuma-Ododen-Brakwa District, Mr Matthew Asante, has been installed as the Gyasehene of Jamra under the stool name Nana Kwesi Enin II.

A large number of people from all walks of life including Mr Sampson Anfako, District Chief Executive, Assembly Members and officials from the Brakwa Breman Rural Bank attended the installation. Addressing the gathering after swearing the oath of allegiance to the Chief of the town, Nana Tutu, Nana Enin pledged to use his expertise to seek financial and material assistance for the development of the town.

Nana Enin who is the Project Manager of the Brakwa Breman Rural Bank said he would assist the chiefs and the people of the area to institute an Education Endowment Fund to help brilliant but needy students to pursue their education.

He said that through his efforts new classroom blocks had been constructed for the Anglican and Methodist primary schools while feeder roads had been rehabilitated and hand dug wells sunk to solve the water problem of the people.

Nana Enin also stated that he assisted women in the area to get access to micro finance to reduce poverty and appealed to the people to embrace the District Mutual Health Insurance Scheme to enable them to get quality health delivery service.
