The youth have been urged no to allow themselves to be used against the peacebuilding, development and growth of democracy in this year's election, come 7th December 2024.

According to Lucy Kwao Siaw, Ghana needs their great transformational impacts for sustainable growth, towards a better future.

The peace advocacy ambassador urged the youth to take up the challenge by thinking about themselves first, by using their lives meaningfully for positive productivity through which they can contribute to the development of the country.

She added that she is of the belief that just as she is dedicated and has a strong commitment to making a positive impact on those around her, the youth will also not allow themselves to be used for destruction by any political party or politician in this year's election.

She also pleaded with the Jean Mensa-led Electoral Commission (EC) to conduct a free and fair election, ensuring that the flagbearers of the various political parties, together with their supporters, will have no reason to challenge the results of the polls or cause any form of destruction.

She also called on the National Peace Council, various national security Agencies, pastors and church leaders, imams, schools and individuals to be tolerant.

She further explained that one can only fulfil his dream when he knows he has a task ahead of him to be profitable to themselves, their families, the society and the country as a whole.

"You and I together, we can make, maintain and continue to make peace prevail. We only have one GHANA!" she said.

Lucy Kwao Siaw has expertise in diverse backgrounds in human resources, has worked with the Ghana Cocoa Board, is the CEO of L-Queency Makeup Artistry and Training Centre, Queen's Foundation that supports society, and most especially young teenage mothers, an entrepreneur and a peace advocate who has won multiple awards like Beauty Entrepreneur of the year (Cosmetology Excellence Award), Best Beauty Retail Store of the Year (Ghana Beauty Award), International Woman of Peace (International Association of World Peace Advocate Award) among others.
