Bethel Revival Church Berlin e.V donates to Akropong School for the blind

Bethel Revival Church Berlin e.V demonstrated the virtue of charity with a donation of 120 Blind Sticks and food items including 3 maxi bags of Rice, 3 crates of Milk, 3 Boxes of Cooking Oil, 2 Boxes of Tinned Tomatoes and 70 Pieces of Toilet Roll to Akropong School for the Blind in Akuapim.

Mr & Mrs Asamoah, Members of the Church in Berlin, donated the items on behalf of the Church to Mrs Mahela Narh, Headmistress of the School as part of their social responsibilities.

It was the dream of Pastor William Tieku Darkwa, head of the church in Berlin that this year's donation must be given to the Blind people. With the support of ABSV.1874.e.V Berlin, it was made posible.

As the donation came during school holidays, the items could not meet the children personally. But Mrs Mahela Narh and Mr Quainoo Burser of the School promised to distribute them to the children.

Mrs Mahela Narh, Headmistress of the School thanked Mr. & Mrs Asamoah for the donation and appealed to public-spirited individuals and organisations to come to their aid.

The Church’s charitable project began December 2012 during the 3rd Year Anniversary celebration in Berlin when they decided to concentrate more on Charity works.

Their previous donation of food items was given to Jahova Rapha Children’s Home – Suhum in the Eastern Region.
