Breman Essiam(C/R), Aug 17, GNA - A 36-year-old Accra based businesswoman, Mrs Abena Essilfie, was on Monday outdoored as the Asafoakye of the Breman Essiam Traditional area.
Under the stool name Asafoakye Abena Aframaa, she succeeded her late grand mother Asafoakye Abena Ntsirimaah who died in October 2009.
Asafoakye Aframaa later swore the oath of allegiance to the Paramount Chief, Odeefo Afrankwa III, and the people including the Asafo company.
Later in an interview with the GNA Asafoakye Aframaa called on Ghanaians especially citizens of Essiam far and near to pay regular visit home and support development projects either in cash or in kind.
She mentioned the establishment of an education endowment fund to care for bright but needy pupils with emphasis on the girl child as her priority.
She said she would also initiate training of the unemployed youth in the area in dressmaking and hairdressing.
